Delete your Lock It account

Google Play requires a clear way to delete account data. Prefer the in-app path (fastest). Use email if you uninstalled the app.

In the app (recommended)

Open Lock It → unlock your vault with your secret equation
Open Settings
Under Danger zone:
- Delete cloud account data — removes Messages profile, invite code, Discover card, cloud recovery doc; signs you out. Local vault stays on this phone.
- Delete account & reset Lock It — same cloud delete, then erases this app’s vault, equation, and settings. It does not factory-reset Android.

Without the app

Include the email address used for Google or email sign-in
We verify ownership and delete cloud identity data (Messages profile, invite code, Discover card, recovery doc) within a reasonable period

What is deleted vs local

Deleted in cloud: Auth session / account docs we control for Messages, invite codes, presence, inbox routing, Discover card, encrypted recovery document
On your phone: sealed notes, keys, photos, files, chat history — wipe with in-app “Wipe all data” or uninstall
Also in encrypted recovery (until you delete the cloud account): notes, keys, numbers, settings — not camera photos or imported files
